We the people of the Intellectual Movement believe that all people are equal and deserving of respect, as is our planet and the contents there of. We encourage the expression of all thoughts and beliefs in order to create an environment rich in culture, logic and philosophy.


Foreign Policy Reform

Immigration:

  • People who want to become American legally will be treated respectfully.
  • Border security is important to national security, stricter boarder patrol will be implemented.
  • Visas will be vigorously monitored and time lines will be strictly enforced.
  • Any individual accused of a crime while visiting under the protection of a visa has the right to a fair trial just like any American citizen and if proven guilty will be deported to their country of origin.

Refugees:

  • Refugees will be treated with dignity regardless of where they are from. They will be immediately returned to their county of origin. They will have same chance to become American citizens as anyone else and have their application for citizenship evaluated the same way.
  • We will continue to provide political and religious asylum for anyone being wrongfully persecuted.

Nuclear Power and Arms Control:

  • We will implement stronger control over the arms flow in this country.
  • We will lead the effort to eradicate nuclear weapons from the planet and will work with other countries to do the same.
  • We will improve our collective ability to stop the need for weapons of mass destruction.
  • We do not believe we should stop nuclear power research.


Tax Reform:

  • Gradient tax based on income off set by numbers of children, amount of income and charitable service preformed.
  • Tax incentives will be provided for those who do more than the minimal requirement for charitable work. Civil Servants and military will be given the maximum tax benefit as part of their regular compensation.


Civil Rights Reform:
An individuals rights, so long as they don’t interfere with another’s individual right are to be respected.

Gay rights:
  • We as Intellectual peoples, respect and value a colorfully integrated community that is tolerant and educated. People should not feel the need to hide that they are to avoid torment and harassment.
  • Schools will teach tolerance and have optional GSA clubs and counselors for kids to reach out to or learn from.
  • Harsher laws will be implemented against hate crimes against homosexuals.
  • Repeal the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” rule in a way that brings our troops together and in a way that is comfortable for all citizens and troops so that they are free to express themselves and defend our country without having to hide who they are.
  • Gay marriage will be legal in all of the United States.
  • All schools will teach tolerance to our children.
  • Banning gay citizens from residential buildings, jobs or businesses of any kind will be illegal.
Woman’s rights:
Women have been treated as less than men in our society for too long. Being treated as chattel or held to the beliefs that woman are like a vase, pretty on the outside and thoughtless and empty on the in side.
  • We call for woman’s education, fairness in the work place and woman’s rights to choose and make her own decisions.
  • Full support of woman’s rights to choose, as upheld by Supreme Court decision in Roe vs. Wade.
  • We call for more shelters to help woman and children escape from there abusers.
Children’s rights
  • Children over the age of 13 have the right to with which parent they want as their primary care giver in the case of divorce.

Election Reform

Election are held online on an encrypted government monitored website – eye scan required for identification
People over the age of 18 are aloud to vote

Trade Reform

  • Open trade with all countries.
  • Taxed based on necessity level of product. i.e. fuel is taxed at a lower rate than chocolate.
  • Recreational drugs can be imported from foreign countries; higher taxes will be paid on tobacco, alcohol and other controlled substances.



Ecology

  • All businesses must work towards maintaining our planet.
  • Heavy monetary penalties will be sanctioned against any non- compliance.

Although it is a custom for people to bury there loved ones after death many people do not know the harm this is causing to our planet. The chemicals from embalming fluid and varnish from caskets are extremely toxic and make the land used for cemeteries unfit for anything else, ever. It is not that the land can never be used for farming; it can never be used for housing or anything else ever again. Cremation seems like a better option until you know that but the air pollution it causes is terrible and killing out earth.

  • Alkaline hydrolysis it is a body disposal method that can help maintain coral reefs and stops coral bleaching, improving the health of our oceans.

  • For utilizing this process (rather than traditional embalming and burial or cremation) citizens will receive tax credits equal to the cost of the procedure.

  • We call for a ban on commercial shark finning and netting and harsher punishment for these crimes.


Free mindedness and freedom
  • We do not believe that it is right to restrict people on the color of their house car or any thing else they own

  • We call for the reinforcement of the laws on freedom of speech

  • Protests should be welcomed not hashed away we should welcome others opinions

  • People should not be edited for the beliefs no mater how confrontational or different
